Every leader faces resistance. This does not always mean he is wrong. Sometimes resistance is the first sign that the world has noticed he may be right.
An investigation is applause from people who cannot clap in public.

The restricted account
Marlene skipped blood-pressure medicine and sent fifteen dollars to defend me. When she asked the church for help buying the prescription, the medicine fund was empty. The legal fund contained more than two million dollars, but the money had been restricted to protecting the ministry from the investigation.
I placed her check inside the appeal report. The total increased by fifteen dollars.
Resistance may be proof. It may also be a warning. The person paying for a leader’s survival should not disappear inside the size of the response.
